Quite how I end up with such an eclectic collection of open tabs, I'll never know, but this mixed bag may be of interest to someone else!
This one's not exactly fresh content, the publication date on the post is from 2015 - but a valuable reminder that if your "publish to web" solution basically consists of pasting the entire folder you've been working in (along with the .git folder, or .svn if you're using SVN), you could be revealing a lot more to the world than you anticipated, or wanted to!
Two of the things that are touched on in some of the videos I watched for 70534 are Chef and PowerShell DSC, so no surprises that I've been doing a bit of "reading around" the subject!
Memo to self: Run through this before running / writing a line of code that does anything else. It's a simple, quick "proof of concept" for DSC.
My skillset has matured somewhat since then, which you'll probably see from the posts here. You can read a bit more about me on the about page of the site, or check out some of the other posts on my areas of interest.
