Edge not working for you in Windows 10 (1809)? Try Fiddler

Edge not being able to browse the web appears to be a common-ish issue in Windows 10 1809

If you've upgraded to the latest version of Windows 10 (1809) and are having problems browsing the web, try running Fiddler. Having this sat between the interweb and Edge seemed to kick it straight back into life for me.

It looks like, for me, this is caused by Sophos Endpoint Protection - so if you can turn this off, that's well worth a go too!

About Rob

I've been interested in computing since the day my Dad purchased his first business PC (an Amstrad PC 1640 for anyone interested) which introduced me to MS-DOS batch programming and BASIC.

My skillset has matured somewhat since then, which you'll probably see from the posts here. You can read a bit more about me on the about page of the site, or check out some of the other posts on my areas of interest.
