Orchard "shape tracing"

A very quick, and short, post to point to a feature of Orchard called "Shape Tracing" that allows you to work out how a page is composed, and what views you'd need to create (and indeed it will create them for you!) to override presentation.

After my recent tweak to add a "Summary" field to blog posts, so I could alter how the "recent blog posts" widget rendered, I wanted to see if I could extend this to other areas of Orchards blogging bits - it looks like Shape Tracing is a great way to work out how to do this.

About Rob

I've been interested in computing since the day my Dad purchased his first business PC (an Amstrad PC 1640 for anyone interested) which introduced me to MS-DOS batch programming and BASIC.

My skillset has matured somewhat since then, which you'll probably see from the posts here. You can read a bit more about me on the about page of the site, or check out some of the other posts on my areas of interest.
